These terms apply to our website (thesilkbridgeteam.com) and our Client Portal (portal.thesilkbridgeteam.com). The Silk Bridge Team is a real estate team at eXp Realty, serving clients in New York and New Jersey. By using the website or the Client Portal, you agree to these terms.
Our services
We help clients buy, sell, rent and lease homes and commercial space. The Client Portal is a private space where we share homes with you, you share what you think, and you can compare estimated costs.
Working with us
Using the website or the Client Portal does not by itself make us your agent. Our representation of you begins only when we both sign the required agreement and disclosure forms under New York or New Jersey law, such as a buyer broker agreement.
Your account
- Your Client Portal is for you and anyone buying with you. Please keep your sign-in private.
- Give us accurate information so we can help you well.
- We may pause or close an account that is misused.
Listing information and estimates
- Home details, photos, prices and availability come from listing sites, brokerages and other sources. We work to keep them accurate, but we cannot guarantee them, and homes can sell or change at any time. Please confirm anything important with us before relying on it.
- Budgets, mortgage payments, closing costs, taxes, travel times and other numbers in the portal are estimates to help you plan. They are not a loan offer, an appraisal, or financial, legal or tax advice. Please speak with your lender, attorney or tax advisor before making decisions.
Messages from us
By giving us your email address or phone number, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, text message or WhatsApp about your search and transaction. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time.
What you share
Comments, notes and documents you add to the Client Portal stay yours. You allow us to use them to provide our services to you, including sharing them with others involved in your search or transaction as described in our Privacy Policy. Please only upload documents you have the right to share.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the website or the portal, for example by trying to access other people's accounts, copying listing data in bulk, or interfering with how the site works.
Fair housing
We are committed to equal housing opportunity and follow all federal, state and local fair housing laws.
Links to other sites
We link to listing sites and other services we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Our content
The website and portal design, text, logos and videos belong to The Silk Bridge Team or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking.
Disclaimers and limits
The website and the Client Portal are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on listing information or estimates shown, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
